The election change slows candidate registration

Change registration rules has created confusion among political parties commune chiefs, slowing process for registering candidate for July's nation election. The election registration began Friday
only three of Cambodia's 57 political parties have submitted their official candidate lists, some officials blame that low number on changes made to the candidate certification precessing. The main problem is confusion about who can approve a candidacy and where it should be done in the past election candidates could get approval from a commune chief.
